Mail Call

Got a letter from Jordan on Saturday (dated 2-14), he has started getting our letters, YEAH! He went to the gas chamber, it "was absolutely terrible" but it was over quick! He said they had take their masks off and sing the hokey pokey before they could leave. He said he is sick, everyone is sick. Wonder if that is from the gas chamber or if he is just sick? They did an outdoor assignment the night before, kinda like camping but you only get two hours of sleep then you are woke up to do guard duty. He siad the hardest thing about the army is not enough sleep, especially when you are sick. He is refusing to go to sick hall because when you go you miss training and if you miss training you could be restarted. He also said, if you dont pass your PT (physical training) test they dont send you home they make you stay until you pass. "I am going to pass" His running is progressing pretty quickly. The first time he ran his practice test he could only run a half lap (1/2 mile) before he had to walk to catch a breath. He is now running a lap and a half before having to walk. They are marching with an added 60# on their backs, a vest that weighs 30#, a pack weighing 20# and 3 jugs of water. "it is ridiculous". He wants me to post his address on Facebook and tell everyone to send pictures and their addresses so he can write back. I can't post his address on Facebook, but if you want to send him something let me know and I can email you his address!
