Welcome to the U.S. Army Motor Transport Operators Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. It is our mission to train disciplined, motivated, physically fit, knowledgeable, Army values based, Warrior Motor Transport Operators, MOS 88M.
During your seven weeks of instruction, you will you be instructed and mentored by the most professional and highly trained cadre in the 58th Transportation Battalion. You will be familiarized with the 5-ton cargo truck, the M915 tractor-trailer system, the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMMT), and the Load Handling System (LHS). You will also be trained to conduct preventative maintenance, convoy survivability, and other warrior tasks and battle drills.
