Jordan shipped out today. We went to the MEPS station to watch his swear in and got to say our goodbyes. Yes we all now understand Jordan's love of the MEPS station, lots of hurrying up and waiting. We got there at 7:30 to find out that the ceremony wasn't until 10. Oh well at least we weren't late. :o) The swearing in was short but emotional! Jordan was then named group leader, of their travel, hence the big white envelope. Pretty funny he is going to be herding the guys in his group through Indy and Atlanta airports.
He then jumped in a charter bus (he thought he was going in a limo) to go to the airport. We left, shortly after he called Dave and said their bus broke down. They had to have a new bus come and take them. His flight left Indy at 5pm and he is scheduled to be in Columbia South Carolina tonight at around 8pm. We probably will not hear anything for a couple weeks now.
PROUD ARMY MOM!
